I’ve always been a do it your selfer (not sure if that’s even word!). Fiercely independent, and at times stubborn, I always wanted to do things on my own. In the past it was difficult for me to ask for help. I always believed I could do it myself. Then along my journey I realized that trying to do it alone makes it much more difficult than it needs to be.

I hate to say it but my husband defend my excellent choice in films, on a very simple level I knew he was right.

When I was in a job I disliked I spent a lot of time focusing on the job. How was I going to leave? What else was I going to do? So I explored [...]
More

I have been out of town for a few months and off I went.

Upon arriving at my appointment I was greeted by the stylist who said hello and washed my hair. I was thinking “wow this is the most unenthusiastic hair stylist I have ever met!”

Perhaps this was a bad day for this [...]
More

I often get e-mails from readers who want advice on how to get motivated and, it actually does take effort.

Before you get worried that I am going to give something else to add to your to-do list, take a moment and goals. They are getting in the way of creating the success that you want.
